AEW’s Thunder Rosa has often faced criticism—particularly surrounding her booking and overall presentation—but there are also many who consider her “underrated.”
Given her experience with similar conversations about her own career, it’s not surprising that she had strong opinions when the topic of “WWE NXT” star Jordynne Grace came up during a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, especially regarding Grace’s talent and popularity.
“I just don’t understand,” Thunder Rosa said in response to co-host Dave LaGreca labeling Grace as underrated, before reflecting on their past encounters in the ring.

Rosa suggested that the influx of new talent into NXT around the time of Grace’s signing may have impacted her momentum. “She can wrestle anyone, honestly, she can wrestle anyone and she’s just so damn good at what she does … She can do it all, and I think she should be talked about more than she is already.”
Tommy Dreamer also joined the conversation, emphasizing that Grace had already accomplished everything possible in TNA, and he questioned how she could still be seen as underrated.
“She broke so many barriers in TNA. When she came in the Royal Rumble – that was a great surprise — once all that stuff, let’s say the last year, 2024 — she was making her way to the WWE; you could see the writing on the wall,” he noted.
